When we first met Mariam , a 10-year-old girl in a remote community, she was often absent from school because her parents could not afford daily meals. Hunger made it hard for her to concentrate in class, and her dream of becoming a teacher felt out of reach.
Through the Say No to Hunger initiative by African Voice Empire, Mary began receiving nutritious meals and school supplies. Within months, her health improved, her attendance became regular, and her confidence blossomed. Today, she is one of the brightest in her class, already helping younger pupils with their studies.
