In a small village in Oshogbo, Osun State, Nigeria, clean and safe water has long been a scarce resource. Every day, women and children walk several kilometres to fetch water from unsafe streams and shallow wells. This struggle not only exposes families to diseases like cholera and typhoid but also robs children of valuable school time and puts an enormous burden on women.
To change this reality, African Voice Empire is establishing a Water Borehole Project that will provide the entire village with sustainable access to clean water.
🌟 Project Goals
• Clean Water Access: End reliance on unsafe water sources by providing a reliable borehole.
• Health & Hygiene: Reduce cases of water-borne diseases and improve overall community wellbeing.
• Education Empowerment: Allow children to attend school regularly instead of spending hours fetching water.
• Women Empowerment: Relieve women of the daily burden of water-fetching, giving them more time for family, trade, and empowerment.
• Community Growth: Strengthen the community by ensuring water security that will benefit generations.
